Blogger's Challenge #73

Today's blogger's challenge was a color challenge and a great one at that! The colors are Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and White or Vanilla. I really love these colors together. And I got to use a few new punches at the same time. Got to love that! The bottom of the card is a new Martha Stewart border punch called embossed scallop. So pretty. I added a strip of the Baja dp to the bottom on the inside so it would show from the front. The medallion is made with the wrought iron corner punch. To make the medallion I used the second largest circle in my Nestabilities. Then I drew lines on the back of the circle to create eight equal pieces, like a pie, then I took the guard off my corner punch and punched in each pie shape. You can see a wonderful tutorial on making these here. Then I made a circle frame in Chocolate Chip. There is a tutorial for this here. Thanks Becca and Lisa for saving me tons of work with those wonderful tutorials. The rest of the card is pretty basic.

There is a tutorial traditional tutorial for those of you on dial up or that want to print the tutorial HERE

Stamps: To You and Yours
Paper: Murfield dp, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze and Whisper White.
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Designer Label Punch, Large Oval Punch, Wrought Iron corner punch, embossed scallop punch (martha stewart), large chocolate chip brads, wide satin chocolate chip ribbon. glitter and glue pen.

Hope you enjoy your day......TGIF!
